Day 1 – Turin
Check in and accomodation in hotel 4* centrally located

Walking guided tour of Turin – You will walk through the centre: Piazza Castello, political and admi
nistrative heart of the city, Palazzo Madama, Piazza San Carlo, the “Living Room of Turin” elegant and rich in “Historical cafés” and elegant shopping streets. Then Piazza Carignano, a beautiful Baroque square which hosts the homonymous theatre. Finally you will visit the Museum of Cinema, hosted in the famous Mole Antonelliana with the possibility to climb up to the pinnacle and admire the breathtaking view on the rooftops.
During the city tour you will stop to fill your energy with the famous drink of Turin “The Bicerin”.
Free time to hang around a little more before going back to the hotel and having dinner. Overnight.
Day 2 – Venaria Reale Palace, Barolo & La Morra
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the Real Palace of Venaria Reale – situated just few kilometres from Turin. Here you will have the chance to visit one of the most beautiful Royal Palaces of the Savoia family, together with its gardens who remind of Versailles – UNESCO Heritage from 1997.
H 10,30 Meeting with the guide for a 2 hours private visit of the Palace with our English speaking guide. At the end you wil have the time to explore the gardens by your own .
In the old city centre you can stop for eating in one of the typical restaurant that serves Piedmontese specialities.
In the afternoon proceed to Langhe area. Accomodation in hotel 4* or in a beautiful contryhouse/relais (depending on your choice)
H 15.00 departure to Barolo for a visit to one of the oldest winery of the area, where Barolo wine was first created. The tour will take you to the cellars and barrique room, where you will and wine tasting
You will visit one Don’t miss the WiMu wine museum and the museum of corkscrews.
On the way back stop in La Morra for admiring an incredible view from the panoramic square in the centre of the village.
Back to Alba. Free time at disposal for an aperitif and dinner in the historical centre.
Visit of the town by your own
Alba is known as the city of the Cento Torri (Hundred Towers), which was built between the fourteenth and the fifteenth century. Today the ones of P.zza Risorgimento and Via Cavour are best kept. We will walk through the streets of Alba to admire elegant monuments starting from the Palazzo del Comune (the Town Hall), to continue on to via Cavour. This is one of the main arteries of the city historical centre, which maintains its medieval structure with porticoes rich in atmosphere. We finally arrive at the magnificent Cathedral in Piazza Risorgimento and its high bell tower
Day 3 – Grinzane Cavour Castle , Cheese Experience & Hazelnut Producer
Breakfast. In the morning you will have some free time to visit the Grinzane Cavour castle and Alba city centre.
Departure to Mombarcaro for the first gourmet visit of the day!
H12.30 Cheese Experience

H 15.30 Nocciola Discovery
Guided tour of a hazelnut producer with a presentation of production processes and tasting of hazelnut products . Come and discover the history and secrets of the unmistakable taste of the Nocciola Piemonte IGP, the best in the world! Guided tour of a small farm in Alta Langa, from hazelnut grove to the production of choice sweets, learning some of the secrets of so intense and lingering a flavour. A tasting rounds off the tour with a delicious experience to cherish among the “sweetest” souvenirs of your trip.
Return to Alba for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – Truffle hunting and wine tasting
Breakfast
H10.00 in the hotel hall meeting with the Truffle expert and its English speaking assistant
In the morning experience the real truffle hunting with dogs in the hills around Alba. An expert “trifulau” will take you to the hidden places where truffle grows. The search could take up to 1 hour.
After that relax with a glass of wine and taste some truffle based specialities at a nearby wine producer.
Proceed with a visit to one of the most modern wine producer of the area
H15.00 Enjoy a guided wine tasting at Ceretto winery
In the evening special Piedmontese gourmet dinner in a family run restaurant of the area.
Return to Alba for the overnight.
Day 5 –Barbaresco area, Canelli and the underground Cathedrals
After breakfast, departure to Barbaresco area, visit of the small villages of Barbaresco and Neive.
You can stop in Neive for lunch and for a wine tasting of Barbaresco wine.
Proceed towards Canelli to visit the “Underground Cathedral” of wine.
Visit of the cellars and wine tasting (approximately 90 minutes)
The aging cellars of Canelli sparkling wine are true underground cathedrals, built under the city, masterpieces of engineering and winemaking architecture. Millions of bottles are left to ferment at a constant temperature of 12-14 degrees assuming the aromas and flavours of the sparkling wine and of the Canelli wine.
Return to the hotel for overnight.
Day 6 – Asti and Vercelli, Visit to a Rice Producer
After breakfast, check out and departure for the city of Asti, where you can start your visit from the Cathedral, one of the most famous monuments of Piedmontese Gothic style.
The “Torre Rossa” (Red Tower), which is one of the most important and better preserved of all the towers of the city of Asti. The Middle Ages, a period of great wealth and power, left beautiful traces in its main monuments: the Cathedral, the Collegiate Church of San Secondo, the complex of San Pietro in Consavia, in its towers and in the details of the stately buildings and streets. The baroque-style of noble mansions and the nineteenth-century elegance of its squares sit side by side in harmony, thus creating a seamless ensemble with the elegant shop windows of the Liberty shops. Asti is linked to its magnificent past that it recalls every year in its Palio race.

During the day you can enjoy a great lunch in one of the many gourmet restaurant in the centre.
Proceed towards Vercelli (about 1 h driving) for a visit to a small jem – a medieval Abbey that hosts one of the oldest Rice producer estate.
H 15.00 Private visit with English speaking guide.
You will discover the medieval part of the Abbey – including the Cloister, The Chapter House together with the estate where you will find out aboit the various phases of rice cultivation and production.
End of the services.
You can extend the trip with an extra night in Turin , or proceeding toward Maggiore Lake.
