Day 1:  Carrara Marble Quarries on 4×4 Jeep & Welcome Dinner

Arrival to Pisa airport. Meet your driver and transfer to Carrara.

Visiting Carrara marble quarries by 4×4 Jeep is an unforgettable experience. You will enjoy the charm of exclusive places otherwise inaccessible for visitors on their own. Top quality off road vehicles driven by our expert staff will lead you to an altitude of 900m where your will see breathtaking scenery. Moreover, you will be given detailed explanations about both ancient and modern excavation methods in direct contact with quarrymen in work days, while cutting marble or loading huge blocks on trucks. After that you will have a short break during which you will taste the unique flavour of the ‘Lardo di Colonnata’. Then you will reach an altitude of 1200m where you can’t keep your eyes off such a view.   

Transfer to Florence, accommodation in hotel centrally located.

Enjoy a welcome dinner, served in a typical Tuscan Trattoria. This is a great opportunity to share experiences with your companions!

Return to the hotel for the overnight.

Day 2:  Florence bike tour & Vespa on Chianti region

Breakfast. Meet our local guide for a funny bike tour of Florence.

Florence is perfect for biking and this bike tour takes you where the bus tours can’t go, in pedestrian areas and little tiny streets. It will take you less time then any walking tours, showing you roads out of the usual tourist paths, too far to be reached by foot, too tiny for a bus!
In 2 hours and a half you will visit all the major tourist attractions, under the experienced guidance of our entertaining and fun professional history guide.
You will ride through the narrow streets of the main center and the Oltrarno district, reaching the most amazing monuments of Florence and unknown spots from where to admire the city: Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza Strozzi, the Duomo, Santa Maria Novella, the artisans district, Palazzo Pitti, Pontevecchio, the Uffizi square, Piazza della Signoria, Santa Croce etc.
Along this pleasant stroll in Florence, you will stop at several locations for history explanations and fun facts about the city, and for photo opportunities.

Time at leisure for lunch. In the erly afternoon departure to Chianti Region for an exciting Vespa tour.

Drive along scenic and silent country roads through the hillside of Tuscany on a Vespa admiring the sights, smells and sounds of the Chianti region!
Our comfortable minivan will take you to the countryside, and will be available in case of any need during all the tour. With a short ride, you will be taken just outside of the busy and bustling city center. First you will receive an orientation conducted by an English speaking trained professional, ensuring the safe operation of the Vespas before we head out for our engaging and enjoyable ride.
The ride, along  scenic country roads will offer splendid views of the rolling hillside, vineyards and olive groves, little ancient churches and medieval towers. Several stops for photo opportunities will be made along the way.

You will visit a famous winery and enjoy a guided tour of their ancient cellars, where you will learn all the secrets of wine and olive oil production.
You will then be able to understand the different approach in wine making as you also visit a fascinating family-run organic farm and winery. Here enjoy a rural dinner on Chianti hills.

Return to Florence and overnight.

Day 3: Truffle hunting in San Miniato 

Breakfast.

In the morning arrival in San Miniato where you will discover all the secrets of the “truffle” with a special and private truffle hunting with Massimo and his dog. At the end enjoy a special tasting of real truffle.

Transfer to Lucca for lunch . Free time to visit the city. Then proceed to Pisa for visiting the city centre with our driver-guide.

Transfer to Pisa airport and departure.
